Terms of Service

Who we are and what we do
Tusker Garage Doors is a solo, owner-operated business based in El Centro, California. We provide residential garage door repair and installation services in Imperial Valley: El Centro, Brawley, Calexico, Imperial, Holtville, Heber, Calipatria, and Westmorland.
What we do and don't do
We service residential overhead and sectional garage doors. We do not service commercial roll-up doors (the corrugated kind on warehouses and storefronts). If you call us about a commercial door, we'll tell you on the phone before driving out.
Quotes and pricing
Phone estimates are good-faith approximations based on what you describe. The final quote is confirmed in person before any work begins. If we find something on-site that changes the price, we'll stop and re-quote before continuing. You will not be charged more than what you agreed to.
Workmanship warranty
We warranty our labor on repairs for 90 days from the service date. New parts come with their manufacturer warranty, which we'll explain at the time of service. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, weather events, or work done by someone else after our visit.
Scope of liability
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your property, structural issues with the garage opening, electrical issues outside the opener itself, or door failures caused by improper use after our visit. We carry general liability insurance; certificates available upon request.
Cancellation
Please give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. There is no fee if you cancel before the tech is dispatched. If we arrive and you are not home or refuse service, a $75 dispatch fee may apply.
Payment
Payment is due at completion of service. We accept several payment options; ask the tech which works best for you when they arrive.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, the first step is always a phone call to us. We resolve almost everything in one conversation. If a formal dispute becomes necessary, these terms are governed by California law, and venue is Imperial County.
Changes
We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
